These were created on lichess.org by editing the board to the starting position and then playing against Stockfish. It is easy *not* to lose to Stockfish when you don't give it any pieces.
To perform this checkmate, the king must be pushed into one of the four corners. The mate will be performed by the bishop which is on the color of the corner square. When you have two bishops, it is easy to stalemate your opponent's king, so be careful!
This is an "elemental" checkmate, but it would be difficult to figure out without being taught. The king must be mated in a corner that has the same color square as the bishop. The king can be mated either on the corner square, or on a square next to the corner.
